Membership, Billing & Cancellation Terms
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These terms explain how paid memberships at 127 work: what you pay and when, how renewal works, how to cancel, refunds, pauses, and special offers like the founding price. They are part of our Terms of Service. "127", "we" and "us" mean 127 Group LLC.
The short version
- Builder is $29 a month. Founding members pay $19 a month, locked for as long as their membership stays active. The Founder's Circle is $299 a month, by application. Sales tax is added where required.
- Paid memberships renew automatically every month until you cancel. We charge your card on file each month on your billing date.
- Cancel online anytime from Billing in your account. No call or email needed. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- 14 days to change your mind: if Builder isn't for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full.
- Otherwise we don't refund partial months, with the exceptions in Section 7 (including a one-time "forgot to cancel" refund).
- We'll email you after you join, after every charge, before a free month ends, before any price change, and once a year to remind you how your membership works and how to cancel.
1. Plans and prices
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | No card needed. |
| Builder | $29 a month | |
| Builder, founding price | $19 a month | Only for members who join during the founding window (Section 4). Locked while the membership stays active. |
| Founder's Circle | $299 a month | By application, limited seats. Also governed by the Founder's Circle Member Agreement. The first four members ever hold Founding Seats and keep $299 a month while they stay (that agreement, Section 5). |
- Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or similar taxes are added where the law requires, based on your billing address, and checkout shows the total before you pay.
- Paid plans are available to customers with a billing address in the United States.
- What each plan includes is described on our pricing page. We add, improve and sometimes change features as described in the Terms of Service (Section 4).
2. Automatic renewal: how it works
When you start a paid plan, you're starting a monthly membership that renews automatically every month until you cancel. By starting one, you authorize 127 to charge your payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, at the start and then every month on your billing date (or the last day of the month, in shorter months), at your plan's price plus any applicable tax, until you cancel.
- No minimum term and no cancellation fee. Cancel anytime (Section 10).
- Receipts: after every charge, we email a receipt showing the amount, the date of your next charge and how to cancel.
- Yearly reminder: once a year from the date you joined, we email a reminder of your plan, its price, how often you're charged and how to cancel.
- Keep your card current. You can update it anytime in Billing. If a charge fails, see Section 12.
3. What you see and agree to before you pay
Before you pay, we show you the plan, its price and how often you're charged, that it renews automatically until you cancel, how to cancel, and our refund rules, right next to the button you use to pay. If your first month is free, we also show the date of your first charge and its amount. You agree by ticking the box at checkout.
Right after you join, we email you a confirmation with the same information and a link to cancel. Keep it for your records. We keep a record of what you agreed to and when.
4. The founding-member offer (November 2026)
Who can get it. Anyone who starts a Builder membership between Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 10:00am ET and Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 11:59pm ET, until 100 founding memberships have started. A founding membership counts as started when its checkout is completed, including one that begins with a free month (Section 5), and its spot isn't offered again if it later ends. People who finish the Day One Challenge can start from 9:00am ET on November 17. Being on the waitlist isn't required. When 25 or fewer founding spots are left, we show the real number. We won't extend the window or run a second founding round.
Checkouts already underway. If you start a founding checkout while spots are still open and before the close, we'll honor the founding price even if the 100th spot fills or the window closes before you finish, in two cases: you finish that checkout within its 30-minute time limit, or it fails because of a problem on our side or our payment processor's (a card your bank declines doesn't count) and you email hello@127group.io within 48 hours of the close. In that second case, we'll send you a one-time link to finish at the founding price. These count as founding memberships, so in rare cases there may be a few more than 100.
The price. $19 a month, plus any applicable tax, for as long as your founding membership stays active. We won't raise it. After the window closes, Builder is $29 a month for everyone else.
What keeps your founding price:
- Switching plans without cancelling. For example, if you move up to the Founder's Circle and later switch back to Builder, you pay $19 again for Builder.
- Pausing (Section 8).
- A failed payment that you fix before your membership ends (Section 12).
What ends it (and it can't be restored):
- A cancellation that takes effect (you can undo a cancellation before your paid month ends and keep the price);
- Taking the 14-day refund (Section 7.2);
- Your membership ending after failed payments; or
- Deleting your account.
One founding membership per person. Once yours ends, you can't start another one at the founding price, even during the founding window. If you come back, you'll pay the regular price at that time.
If we ever stop offering Builder, we'll tell you at least 30 days ahead, we'll stop charging you when it ends, and we'll refund any unused part of a month you prepaid. The founding price covers Builder's monthly price; it doesn't cover taxes, the Founder's Circle or other products.
Founding bonuses:
- Your founding number and a Founding badge on your profile. They stay on your account even if you later leave.
- The founding members' call: a live group call with Eli for founding members on Tuesday, December 1, 2026 at 8:00pm ET (about 60 minutes). The call is recorded and the recording is shared with founding members in the Library. If you don't want to appear in it, keep your camera and microphone off and ask questions in the chat. If we have to move the call, we'll reschedule it and email you.
- First word on the Founder's Circle: founding members hear about open Circle seats before anyone else.
5. Bring 3 friends: your first founding month free
How to earn it. If you're on the founding waitlist, you get a personal invite link. When 3 people join the waitlist through your link and confirm their email address by Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 11:59pm ET, you earn the reward. People who were already on the waitlist, and email addresses that bounce, don't count.
What you get.
- If you haven't started Builder yet: your first month of founding Builder is free when you start Builder during the founding window (Section 4). It's applied automatically at checkout. After the free month, your membership renews at $19 a month plus tax until you cancel. Checkout shows the date of your first charge, and we email you a reminder 3 to 7 days before it (Section 9).
- If you've already started a paid plan: we add a $19 credit to your account instead (one month of founding Builder). It's used automatically toward your next charges and stays on your account until it's used.
Rules:
- One reward per person, however many friends join.
- A free month must be used by starting Builder during the founding window. Rewards, including credit, have no cash value and can't be transferred, sold or combined with another offer.
- Referrals must be real people who chose to join. Self-referrals, fake, duplicate or disposable email addresses, and paying or rewarding people to sign up don't count. We may review referrals and remove ones that break these rules, and if a reward was earned that way, we may charge the regular founding price for that month, remove the credit, or end the founding price.
- When you share your link, say you get a reward (for example, "I get a free month if you join"), especially in public posts. Share it with people you know, in your own words. Don't buy lists, send bulk email, or use tools that mass-text or auto-message people, and follow the rules of the platform you post on.
- When a friend confirms, we tell you their first name so you can see your progress.
5A. Invite friends: a free month for each friend who pays
Starting Tuesday, November 17, 2026, members get an invite link on the Invite page in their account. If you're on the founding waitlist, it's the same link.
How to earn it. You earn a free month when someone:
- makes their 127 account through your link, within 30 days of opening it on the same device;
- then starts Builder or the Founder's Circle; and
- gets past the 14 days they have to change their mind, without their first payment being refunded or disputed.
What you get.
- If you're on a paid plan: a credit worth one month of your plan at the price you pay, but no more than your friend's monthly price. For example, if you're on the Circle and your friend starts Builder, the credit is one month at their Builder price. It's used automatically toward your next charges.
- If you're on the free plan: your first month of Builder free when you upgrade, saved until you do. Section 9 applies: checkout shows the date and amount of your first charge, and we email you a reminder 3 to 7 days before it.
Limits.
- Up to 12 free months each calendar year, and one per friend.
- These don't count: you or another account of yours; someone who already had a 127 account; a friend whose first payment is refunded or disputed; and anyone who joined through a 127 ambassador's link. Ambassadors are paid under their own agreement and don't earn these months.
- Rewards have no cash value and can't be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash. Unused credit and saved months end when your account is deleted.
Play fair. Section 5's rules apply here too. Also, don't post your link on coupon or deal sites or in ads, and don't promise anyone results or income. We may review sign-ups (for example, ones from the same network), hold a reward while we do, and take back a reward earned against these rules or charge for a free month used that way.
What you see. Your Invite page shows each friend's first name and where their sign-up stands, never their email or payment details.
The founding reward. Section 5 runs as written until November 24, 2026. A friend who counts toward it can also count toward this one.
Taxes. A reward can count as income. If the law requires it, we'll ask for your tax details before giving you more rewards, and report them.
Changes. We may change or end this program. We'll tell you at least 30 days ahead, by email and on your Invite page. Rewards you've earned, and ones still counting down, stay yours.
6. Price changes
- Founding prices don't change: the founding Builder price while the founding membership stays active (Section 4), and a Founding Seat's $299 Circle price while its holder stays (Founder's Circle Member Agreement, Section 5).
- We may change the price of other plans. If we do, we'll email you between 7 and 30 days before the new price applies to you, with the new price, the date it starts and how to cancel. If you don't want to pay it, cancel before that date.
- If you're charged a new price and cancel within 14 days of that first charge, we'll refund that charge in full if you ask (hello@127group.io, subject "Refund").
- Changes in tax rates aren't price changes, and taxes follow the law where you live.
7. Refunds
7.1 The general rule
When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for, and we don't refund partial months, except as described in this Section or where the law requires.
7.2 Builder: 14 days to change your mind
If Builder isn't for you, we'll refund your first payment in full.
- It covers your first-ever paid Builder charge. If a referral made your first month free, it covers your first paid charge after that.
- Ask within 14 days of that charge: email hello@127group.io from your account email with the subject "Refund" (or use the refund button in Billing once it's available). You don't need to give a reason.
- We refund the full amount to your original payment method within 2 business days of your request. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
- Your Builder membership ends when the refund is made, and your account moves to the free plan. If you had the founding price, it ends too.
- Once per person. It doesn't apply to the Founder's Circle.
7.3 Other refunds
We'll also refund:
- Billing mistakes and duplicate charges, in full.
- Any charge made after your cancellation took effect, in full.
- A new price you didn't mean to keep, as described in Section 6.
- The unused part of a prepaid month if we end your membership for a reason other than your breaking our Terms, or stop offering your plan or the service.
- The rest of the month if we remove a core feature of your paid plan in the middle of a month you've paid for (Terms of Service, Section 4).
- Any credit left on your account when your membership ends (for example, from moving down from the Circle, Section 11), if you ask. This doesn't include referral credit (Section 5), which is a reward rather than money you paid.
- Anything else the law requires.
7.4 One-time "forgot to cancel" refund
If you meant to cancel and got charged for another month, email us within 7 days of that renewal charge and we'll refund it in full and end your membership. This is available once per member. For the Founder's Circle, it applies only if you haven't joined a Circle call since that charge.
7.5 How refunds work
Refunds go back to the payment method you paid with. Once approved, we process them within 2 business days. To ask, email hello@127group.io from your account email with the subject "Refund."
8. Pausing Builder
Instead of cancelling, a Builder member can pause for one month, from the cancel screen in Billing. You can pause once every 6 months.
- Your pause starts when the month you've already paid for ends, so you keep every day you paid for.
- While paused: no charge for one billing month. Builder tools are locked and your account works like the free plan, but your roadmap, saved work, badges and price are kept, including a founding price.
- It restarts automatically at the end of the pause, at your current price, on the date shown when you paused. We'll email you at least 3 days before it restarts, with the date, the price and how to cancel.
- Resume early anytime from Billing. Builder unlocks right away; we'll show you when your next charge will be before you confirm.
- Cancel during a pause anytime and you won't be charged again. Cancelling ends a founding price.
- The Founder's Circle can't be paused; Circle members can switch to Builder instead (Section 11).
9. Free months and come-back offers
Free months turn into paid months unless you cancel. Some offers start with a free month (the referral rewards in Sections 5 and 5A and the come-back offer below). For every free month:
- Before you start, we show the date of your first charge and its amount.
- We email you a reminder 3 to 7 days before your first charge, with the date, the amount and a link to cancel.
- Cancel before that date and you pay nothing. If you don't, your membership renews monthly at the price shown until you cancel.
Come-back offer. If you cancel Builder, we may later email you an offer to come back with your first month free (only if you've agreed to receive marketing emails from us). It comes as a personal link and works once per person. After the free month, Builder renews at the regular price (currently $29 a month) until you cancel. A founding price doesn't come back with it. The offer isn't available to anyone who got the 14-day refund (Section 7.2) or a free month from us before.
Other offers. We don't publish public promo codes. Offers come only through links we send you, can't be combined, have no cash value, and may end anytime, but we'll honor a link we sent you until the date it says it expires.
10. Cancelling
You can cancel anytime, online, from Billing in your account. Choose Cancel, then tap Cancel Builder (or Cancel the Circle) on the next screen. That tap cancels. You can look at other options first, like pausing or switching to the free plan, but you never have to. You don't need to call, email or chat with anyone, and you don't need to give a reason.
- You can also cancel by email: send "Cancel" to hello@127group.io from your account email. We'll process it within 2 business days, and if you're charged after the day we receive it, we'll refund that charge.
- When it takes effect: at the end of the month you've paid for. You keep access until then, and you won't be charged again.
- Confirmation: we email you right away with the date your access ends.
- Changed your mind? Until that date, you can keep your membership with one tap from Billing, with no new charge, and a founding price stays.
- After it ends, your account moves to the free plan. Your roadmap, progress and saved work stay on your account; paid tools are locked until you rejoin.
- Founder's Circle: cancel the same way, online. Your seat is released at the end of your paid month. You may book an optional call with Eli before you go, but a call is never required to cancel.
- If you have the founding price, cancelling ends it once the cancellation takes effect (Section 4).
11. Changing plans
- Moving up (for example, from Builder to the Founder's Circle, once accepted): we charge the difference for the rest of your current month right away, and the new plan unlocks once that payment goes through. After that, you pay the new plan's price on your usual billing date. Before you confirm, we show the amount due today and the new monthly price.
- Moving down (for example, from the Circle to Builder): the change happens right away. The unused part of your current month becomes a credit on your account that's used toward your next payments. If your membership ends with credit left, we'll refund it if you ask.
- Moving to the free plan works like cancelling (Section 10): it takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for.
- Founding price: switching plans without cancelling keeps it (Section 4).
12. Failed payments
- If a charge fails, we'll email you and retry the charge over about two weeks. You keep access while we retry, and you can update your card anytime in Billing.
- If the last retry fails, your paid membership ends and your account moves to the free plan. A founding price ends with it.
- We don't charge late fees.
- An upgrade only unlocks after its payment goes through.
13. Emails we send about your membership
We send these to your account email even if you've unsubscribed from marketing emails, because they're about your account and payments:
- a confirmation when you join, with your plan, price, billing date, how to cancel and our refund rules;
- a receipt after every charge;
- a reminder 3 to 7 days before a free month ends;
- a pause confirmation and a reminder at least 3 days before a pause ends;
- a notice between 7 and 30 days before a price change;
- a yearly reminder of your plan, price and how to cancel;
- a confirmation when you cancel, and when we issue a refund; and
- notices about failed payments.
14. Taxes
Prices don't include sales tax or similar taxes. Where the law requires, we calculate tax from your billing address and add it at checkout and on each renewal. If tax rules change, the tax on your renewals may change too.
15. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Account settings. Deleting your account ends any paid membership immediately, without a refund for the rest of the month, and ends any founding price. If you want to use the time you've paid for, cancel first and delete your account after your access ends. The delete screen offers that choice. What we delete and keep is described in our Privacy Policy.
16. Billing questions and disputes
If something looks wrong on your bill, email hello@127group.io with the subject "Billing." We reply within 2 business days, and we fix mistakes. We'd appreciate the chance to fix a problem before you dispute a charge with your bank, but you always keep the right to do so. Other disputes are handled as described in the Terms of Service (Section 20).
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll email you at least 30 days before a material change takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree. Changes never apply to charges already made, and they won't take away a founding price that's still active. Price changes follow Section 6.
